I remember how much people overestimated Jack (myself included) due to his 1 billion berry bounty. I thought he was Low Admiral level. But Oda inflated all the bounties during the Yonko Saga.

That’s why I think he did a good thing to reveal Roger’s bounty back then in ch 956

He put a cap on bounty inflation by doing that , otherwise you would have seen EOS Luffy with a 50 billion bounty
