It's been a while WG, moved back to Mexico for a bit so I have some more free time to host a game. To ease my way back into the Mafia scene put One Piece Game in the Host Queue thread. Rehosting it after it abruptly ended, just going to tweek some things to include egghead island as it's reaching its end and my game covered everything up to wano

That dr doom role was pretty good, I remember you did a fantastic job with the role. We will see what the rng gods have in store once roles are being pmed. Going to looking at my inbox and looking at the roles again to see what needs to be reworked on to fit with the new mechanics I have in store for the game.
Game ended before I could implement the world government/marines mechanics so this will be one of the new additions to keep people on their toes and not try to look at the old roles to figure out the game

Yeah role claiming has been the bane to my Mafia games, surprised it hasnt fully been a factor in most anti town wins but still I can see the frustration having to work double or triple as hard while some town coast to victory.
I think the Marine/World Government mechanic may solve some of those claiming woes, what I like about this mechanic I'm going to implement in this game is that it's not only make sense lore wise with marines chasing or capturing pirates but also been brewing in the background in a few of my games such as beerus mechanic in dragonball or galactus one in the Marvel game.
This game will just expand on that except instead of worrying about only the 90%-100% danger level peeps will have to worry about marines constantly trying to Stop them while in the meantime dealing with other pirate threats. Beating or escaping marines will grant you some neat rewards while losing to them will lead to some negative statuses that will effect your contribution to the game. Giving you a true one piece experience.
Not all marines will be treated equal so to simplify their threat level taking a page out of cross guild book they will be ranked by stars so for ex: 3 stars will represent Admiral level Marines, when they appear they can do more damage and target more players than 1 or 2 star Marine Hazards. The Admirals will likely be the ones I use that will likely punish players that claim
