I'm kind of at a loss here because we have confirmed evidence scum would have been granted extra kills so long as they got arceus, alone. Nothing you're saying is strictly out of the wheelhouse no. It's a fuji game. Nothing ever works if you're town and if you're scum you can cheese and do whatever you want

I actually think you're overstating the degree to which extra kills break the game, normally fuji puts hostile indies or extra mafia or whatever
We've apparently had neither (which is very much an anomaly in SRM), but it doesn't strike you at all that they could get some extra boosts in late game
Like basically we have confirmation they got extra kills, and this was granted after the night where the conversion happened

After the whole "Magic Doctor Serial Killer" incident you honestly should know better, especially with Fuji, who probably makes an effort to balance his games but frankly you can assume he takes whatever liberties he wants in his roles for the most part

You're so transparent Ultra, you're supposed to make it sound like you believe it! I was looking for one missing piece and I got it, frankly regardless of whether Mango is Indie or Scum (and your reaction makes me more confident that it's the latter) I think you've slipped your mask here. But given I've spent all night thinking about this, I'm more than happy to explain your thought process all the way through the game.
You bus Polar first. Losing his abilities sucks, but you can live with that. You get several scum mates on that wagon - even if one gets caught as a busset, 3 will surely not go over. There may even have been some hidden vote weighting, or PM voting, to make sure Gad goes over. And then once Polar is gone, you spend the rest of the game playing catch up, because by bussing you've set yourself back. That's why you focus down on Flower. It's why you try to lynch me several times. It's why you lynched Melkor and why you pushed Orca. You've routinely failed to find townies that you should, and in conjunction with that mislynched, and in conjunction with that you've defended scum. The result is that your credibility has eroded day on day. I sae that you tried to get extra credit from Reloaded with the busdriver thing, I pointed out yesterday that the claim there had nothing to do with his currently being lynched.
You know your goose is cooked here. It was only a matter of time - you tried a bit too hard with Orca and it didnt line up with what he would be doing as scum. As a result your mates get PoE'd out. Do I have an easier time accepting that Magic is a terrible scum teammate, over AM being the mastermind behind the game? I sure do. Mango slipping with his claim is unfortunate, and it probably takes me a further cycle to get the pieces together without it, but your method of play was never game winning in the first place. To explain how I got to this, I was never satisfied with where we were with the PoE. It did not add up. I pointed out why it didn't make sense for Scum Orca to be making himself look worse. And AM, probably not scheming much. So I was already side eyeing Ultra. Then I needed to think about how he could be scum with all the information I know, and my conclusion was the most likely thought process was he busses early and then oushes town. He gets multiple scum mates on the bus and hopes at least one gets cleared from it. Bussing in SRM in terrible but that's another matter.
Yesterday Ultra pushes for Orca, instead of Reloaded. He was fine going for Xenos, but once Xenos gets cleared off, he brings Orca up. Then I go back and I see him defend Mango when Mango says he was likely to be mislynched. And most of his defence is word salad nonsense that doesn't actually make a point. So at that point I was convinced that we lived in that scenario.
There are some parts I don't like. I can't quite grasp a scum Neeko thought process, nor can I grasp a Mango one. But that was why I shot him - from his claim I knew he wasn't town, and I'd get a good approximation of his threat level if he survived. If he flipped town, then shoot, but at least then I know I can have a bit more confidence in the AM/Orca direction. If he flips Mafia then I've identified a scum mate, and I had Psychic as a possible 3rd. And if Indie, I'd be somewhere in the middle.
I think Ultra's reaction to my entrance gives him away all things considered. He hasn't talked about Mango blocked YTW, he's looked instead to induce paranoia without addressing the obvious issue with his version of events. I think regardless of what Mango flips he is probably not town either. Possibly the Indie and Mango is scum.
But I think my favourite solution would be Ultra as scum with Mango. Here, he claims an innocent to clear the slot, and gets some backlash for the choice of investigation being suboptimal. Mango tries to shore that up by presenting himself as an easy mislynch, which Ultra is all too happy to assert support of. Then he pushes Melkor. He probably thought I would stop thinking at a certain point, or that I would get content with the PoE when I could tell there were issues with what we were going along with. He gets Mango to bus Reloaded while he tries to get other directions going off. If there is another scum mate here, it's possible that it's someone like Pot or AM. I know it won't be Xenos, Flower, Orca. But we can cross that bridge when we come to it.
In either case, they both need to go. Next time, Ultra, don't take classes from the Magic School of Scumming - unceremoniously bussing mates avails you naught!
