Is Egghead arc the worst it has ever been for Sanji? I dont remember Sanji getting hypetooled pre TS. Post TS idk where it started, I think it was against Vergo with the leg cracking shit and then against Doffy. But Egghead has been absolutely shit for Sanji. I know some Sanji fans will try to hype some things (just dont bring the perception blitzing Zoro thing, that is pure retardness) but when you look at it overall it has been very disappointing.

And these are not just gag losses (best one was that Duval shit) or bad for power level, even character wise he has taken a hit. Biggest one being that we get zero, absolutely zero reaction to Lucci injuring Stussy in front of Sanji even when Sanji says that he is her dog and shit. Or wanting to score points in front of Bonney (not even getting into the age debate) and telling Franky to back off only to have Franky be the savior in the end anyway because Sanji failed.

Then we get to his performance against the enemies, the only respectable one is against S-Shark. But against top tiers getting stare diffed by Saturn and being unable to move, to not being able to save VP (Luffy shares the blame), cracking a one liner and then getting kicked in the face and unable to protect VP from Kizaru to now getting bitten and thrown to the ground by Venus.

Idk how the diehard Sanji fans are coping right now, but their wishes of Sanji being Akainu level seems to have taken a hit.

Its fun when Sanji and his fans are trolled (and some do deserve it) but this is getting disappointing. I wish Oda would bring East Blue and Alabasta Sanji back.

Sanji has been like the 3rd/4th most popular character over the series and this recent showing is gonna hit the fanbase.

by the end of the next big fight Sanji will be a toptier most likely so this is the last time he gets clowned, next time the fight will be a mid diff at least even if he were to fight shanks

The.problem is that Oda once again doesn't give him a "main" fight like he did with Luffy and Zoro. I hope at the end he give him at least Doberman(where is he?).

That's absolutely the case. No hardcore zoro fan (in his mind) will ever shit on Sanji when he does something cool. Look at Mr. Prince at alabasta or his attempt to sacrifice himself at Thriller Bark.

Yes, there's been moments where Oda displays luffy and zoro superiority. Like their combo move on W7, or Kaku getting a DF after the doriki measurements.

But after the TS Oda basically hates him. Humiliates him when he gets the opportunity to do so.
Giving him a 2vs1 with jimbei at FMI, hypetool for vergo and doffy. WCI in its entirety.

His recent power up with the exoskeleton woke some hopes for rehabilitation.

But Egghead... :josad:

People pretend zoro fans hate sanji and like to shit on him. But we'd really really like him to shine. He's not on luffy or zoro level but he really should be much closer to zoro.
Unfortunately Oda's management says otherwise...

Really no offense, I still can't see him beat golem pica the way zoro did. I know he should be leagues above pica. But yeah, no on-panel or off-panel indication whatsoever

Runji had a good performance so far
Sneaked S-Shark a couple of times
Kicked Saturn's leg in a 5v1
Kicked Venus' head in a 5v1
Kicked a beam meant for someone else
These are all top tier feats, they're even better if you ignore that characters allegedly weaker than him have better feats without all the running, sneaking and floor licking. :endthis:

The fight was offscreened, yes Oda is a clown and he has done that kind of shit before, no big deal here, just our regular ClOwnda

Kizaru vanished when he was supposed to be there right in front of Sanji and Luffy, Saturn moved from where he was (he got sent flying) and he was almost completely transformed in a new transformation
