Only thing saving Akainu is the small chance that he fights Luffy in the future, but Luffy has all the tools to win and most definitely the feats for it, of course that's assuming Oda doesn't nerf him like we've seen against Kizaru and the Gorosei where ACoC was used a whopping one time.

akainu won’t even be able to keep up w luffy speed luffy more than likely uses long range attacks to avoid anything critical as we know akainu ap is high luffy extreme diffs

Ohk Akainu might be slower than other admirals but he got his own for keeping up , like Luffy uses rubber and air compression to fly in g4.
Akainu uses magma jet propulsion to move forward. Ya'll underestimate him a lot.

Why do people assume Akainu is slow lol
Kizaru is the fastest ofcourse, but guys like Akainu Aokiji and Garp are all fairly fast with soru

But that happened in overall stats. Not all the stats.
We know akainu is stronger AP and DC wise.
Speed and AoE is Aokiji field of expertise.

Akainu doesn't have to be faster than Aokiji to beat him , that's cope only Katakuri and sanji fans spreading thinking they can ran away from anyone even top tiers and win the battle with shit AP.

In a matchup against Aokiji, Akainu’s fruit gets nullified for the most part
While I agree he doesn’t need to be faster, there’s no reason to think they’re not within the same tier
