Orochi at stage can be Kanjuro's drawing. And as was shown in earlier chapter, the drawing can also make some sort of blood.

Actually that is not the case. It isn't Kaido that he feared, but the rebellion. He always got scared of the 20 years prophecy, and today is supposed to be the Big Day.
Not too farfetched to think that a scaredy cat, yet scheming man like Orochi, prepares a body double for this Big Day of Prophecy.

But to his surprise, it's not Scrubbards or their allies that harm him instead it's Kaido.

it would be disrespect to "plot" if samurais beheaded Kaido like Kaido did to Orochi...Orochi is just a figurehead even in flashback of Oden most of the time that old grandma made the schemes....remember Luffy said to defeat Kaido not Orochi, Momo asked Luffy help to defeat Kaido not Orochi...karma bit Orochi ass very hard...of course it is possible that he could live but he won't be main antagonist anymore...

Orochi is not dead. But the reason is not because of his Df

It's because Orochi that Kaido attacked is a body double. He prepared body double because today is the day where prophecy says he will fall.

If the body double scenario is happening, that just means Oda is being consistent again.

Orochi's expectation: scrubbards will harm and injure him
Reality: Kaido finished what the scrubs can't do because they are busy getting stalled by 1 man Kanjuro.

Scrubbards being scrubbards throughout the whole arc.
