Idk about that, honestly, the Strawhats did fucking nothing the whole arc.
What did Luffy accomplish here? Did he defeat a Gorosei? No. Did he defeat an Admiral? No. Did they successfully protect the VP? Also no.
I'd say Luffy's appearance made it easier for the Gorosei to find the stream's source.

That correct, still clearly the CP0 was not up to the task when facing Luffy&Zoro so maybe that will give an extra bump to their bounties

So, then, I'm obviously missing something. Why do you believe Zoro's dream won't end with Mihawk?

We agree on Zoro surpassing Roger and on Luffy surpassing people stronger than Roger but you find issue in Mihawk, the goalpost that'll make Zoro become the strongest swordsman, being stronger than Roger (a swordsman with no black blade)?

If Imu's plot didn't exist, I'd have issues with this as well, but as we agree on, Luffy has a destiny beyond that and stronger people to beat, so I don't understand the issue.

I guess the question then would be: who do you think is a stronger swordsman than Mihawk that Zoro will fight after him?

See this is the issue, I have Zero clue. This is a true conundrum for me because on one hand I dont know how Zoro will surpass Roger and Ryuma and on the other hand I feel like Mihawk being stronger then Roger would diminish Luffys accomplishment when he reaches that milestone.

I just dont know bro, sorry. If Mihawk is Zoros last fight and it becomes clear that it is then I will admit that he is stronger then Roger and either equal to or stronger then Ryuma.

Because no top tier would have issue with King. Zoro always hit above his weight class but you need more then good AP to be a top tier.

Also I am one of the few people who think Zoro was artificially buffed after Dressrossa like a lot of characters to be able to deal with the raid. Couple it with his week of training before the raid and you can explain his rooftop feats without headcanoning that he was way stronger then Luffy at the start of the time skip, that just doesnt make sense and Oda would never do it narratively.

I also think Zoro vs King fight often gets misinterpreted. I think Luffy before 1010 Stands no chance against King either and his failure to hurt Seraphim without CoC and giving up comparing them to Kaido only shows that.

But King is a lot more agile and lethal than Seraphim. Zoro had no problems tossing S-Hawk around without even hurting him, but King knows damn well how to take advantage.

Plus I don't think Luffy's Haki at the time was strong enough to deal with anyways so Luffy dies here.

If he was using Gear 5, you could make an argument that he was affecting the entire island, but he isn't using it, so maybe he is starting to affect everything even without being in Gear 5

That does not mean Jozu is top tier just a clash. Would Mihawk low diff Jozu yeah he would but let's not use clashes as way to solidly top tier status.

Blackbeard had no issue with S-Hawk he was merely surprised by him. They clashed once and then we dont see S-Hawk near BB again.

Look at Prime Pedo's face sweating bullet and look at his face when enduring said hit.
Tell me again he doesn't have issue? One got sent flying and the other left the scene without any scratch, should be clear who got better portrayal here.

Mihawk is the strongest swordsman ever, zoro will not defeat the 4th or 3rd strongest and get goat shout out for that

Zoro didn't block a top tier tho, Oda has made a big deal of AdvCoC Being end all be all an he matched top tiers AdvCoC in a point blank clash making top tier exert great deal of effort and get flipped back while both their Haki's canceling each other out.

That can't be compared to Hakiless flying slash not aimed at diamond blocked by diamond body. That's like Bartolomeo fruit used to block Oden slash.

What Zoro did isn't some situational ability. He matched top tier of similar fighting style as him and both got equal treatment.

Kaido and Yamato clashed using AdvCoC but does that make Yamato top tier? AdvCoC clashes for top tier clashes have to be sky splitting we can't set the bar so low for this. So far the story has shown us sky splitting is the pinnacle of AdvCoC clashes.

I think Bonney deserves a better bounty, her ability to control the PX's and maybe the Lil Kuma is pretty overpowered, makes her a very valuable person in the final war, also the Giants deserve a better bounty considering they basically saved the SHs here.

Nah I think that slash was nothing but invitation to battle. It was meant for Whitebeard to counter easily.

Still tho which non-top tier has been able to have massive clash of Advanced CoC and both being blown back as a result?

And Gandhi's CoC is actually a good deal stronger than Kaido and Big Mom's.
