Also would add that Ekko at the time tried to pile on to worst there with his comment that he was looking suspect, but didn't really contest the reasoning that it was a frame job - if he understood that much, it would warrant the question "why would scum frame scum". Am beating a dead horse here by this point, but these are the sorts of things town think about, which is completely lacking in Ekko's thought processes here. Doesn't necessarily mean he is aligned with Blackbeard.
