I still dont get why this losing an arm to a sea king is meant to be a nerf.
F.e. Whitebeard got stabbed by Squardo, but it isnt a downgrade.

In this Situation, Shanks was only worried about Luffy, a kid, and all he went for was saving hit, so he was massively distracted and unfocused. Sure, he could have deal better with that Situation, but his emotions overcame him, thats just human.
