The rest of the Elders arriving is kind of a mixed bag imo.
On one hand, I think it was pretty cool to see the powers of the other Gorosei, the reveal that they are all awakened and have CoC, two of them imo already seem stronger than both Kaido and Big Mom.
But on the other hand because they are now all here, it is making Oda drag out the climax even longer, and both Kizaru and Saturn's defeat like some thought would happen isn't happening anymore.
If the rest of the Elders didn't arrive, I do think that both Kizaru and Saturn would have been defeated during this arc.
But I will say that it makes sense on why they arrived, Vegapunk's message pretty much put them in a panic mode.
