Ok now having reread everything here are my newbie thoughts. These are just assumptions, hopefully they are fair:

- Sera and Kiwi ganging up on Reborn early on seems more of a joke than serious claims, I don't think that this means they are scum. Neutralwatcher taking them seriously right away is weird to me.
- NeutralWatcher thinking Cobra is town without a proper reason is also bizarre. Then saying to trust no one d1. Contradiction.
- Al Sama being so pushy on our sweet king doesn't sit well imo -- then again i read somewhere in the thread that if he is scum he wouldnt act this way so...
- Beta not claiming bd right away doesn't say anything about if they are bad or not

So for now I think NW is sus

To be honest NW saying he trust people who say not to trust anyone is also a weird way to confirm someone is BD. Scum would say the same thing in a game as well so its a really weak trust statement.

Don't always trust someone elses read of another players scum meta, trust your own read. I've played a lot with Al and he doesn't usually make himself so open when playing town, but I could always be wrong in this case because he could be trying to play against meta.

Just wondering why you were concerned about his view of those 2. Honestly I was thinking it was more recency bias then anything else.

al sama push on light seems more so to attract discussion looking back
and from these discussions even if its bd vs bd
you tend to find people pop in mid discussion that try to push weak cases and thats a way to catch scum.

but irc al liking post is not really a great reason to scum read. you think players like kiwi and sera if they were scum wouldnt put some distance between them early on?
and even if they didnt, its all round just not logical to base scum read off of that. for lurkers its primarily people liking post and not responding in the thread.

Kiwipom's frustration seems genuine to me.

Also is Sunita playing? I haven't seen her playing mafia so she's the most difficult to read along with Melantonin.

Light doesn't have a meta at all. So reading him is hard. I don't get why Kiwi gets scum vibes from him already when he plays the same regardless of alignment.

Said stuff everyone knows, that light always acts neutral as fuck even if he is scum/town.

So...the impressions so far:

Reborn: Dragon. He is very pushy like he usually is as a Townie.

Krog: Probably Dragon. He plays like he did in the other games where he was Town/Dragon.

Cobra: Sounds good as well. His entrance seemed genuine.

Fujishiro: Seems good so far.


Al sama: Scum hunting, so he seems Dragon.


Kiwi: Scum. Don't like her instantly jumping at Light. He is unreadable, so such an early scum read seems weird.

For me, she's a mixed bag. But im neutral for her for now.

Ya sera was doing that same stuff last game and he was scum, but i dont let myself be biased like that, he is fine for now but if you look at my post he didnt provide anything usefull but asking for someone their alignment then he dipped.
