You think Oda, the same dude that completely retconned his MC's below average underdog devil fruit into the greatest power in op the first pirate and pirate jesus's god fruit without any setup whatsoever cares about setup here?
And there has been plenty of setup for Kizaru flipping. Just in the background. Some are pretty obvious too.
And when it does happen, the oda angels will sing praises of his foreshadowing powers and be annoying as usual. And all yall who denied the theory will be like "oh it's not a big deal. it's a bad twist. There was no foreshadowing for it at all. it came outta nowehere", Despite others recognizing the hints and having theories about it for a long time.
How is the world flooding not a personal/dramatic reason?

Also, i think the flip will be similar to what happened with Garp after Akainu killed Ace.
Until then, Garp was ok with Ace dying. Cause it was his duty and shit. He literally did nothing when Sengoku moved the execution time forward twice. If it weren't for Goofy and then Crocodile, Ace would die sooner. Garp had no qualms about that.
But, when Ace got freed, and was in the verge of escaping with his life, only to get his life snuffed out by Akainu, Garp was livid and enraged. Because the greatest despair comes right after hope.
The shp are on the verge of escaping right now. Almost all of them are in ships. And the Robot is attacking the gorosei.
So there's hope for escape.
But, the Robot sure as hell isn't gonna be able to hold back all if the gorosei. They have regen, flight, teleportation etc. they're not going away just cause they got sent flying.
So, as the shp and giants seem like they escaped, the gorosei will catch up and attack. Or almost attack. Thats when Kizaru willcome to Bonney and Kuma's aid. Unlike Garp in mf, he won't have a sengoku to hold him down, and he will have acted fast enough to prevent his family from dying and he will actually do something and ensure that his loved ones live.
And then the sunny probably coup de bursts away. And Kizaru will share a silent moment between Bonney and the punks right as they do. Probably a genuine smile similar to this

i didnt deny it , i simply said the conclusion will be bad cause there has barely been any setup
