Zou as build up arc was really good - we got very excited at the Raizo reveal and Ninja Pirate Mink alliance.
Jack was good antagonist
Early WCI was solid too and we went through Sanji' flashback and drama with Luffy.
Then Capone come and all the assassination plan failing etc
You can feel the tension
The Great Debate on OJ really spiced up the experience too
Then suddenly Big Mom scream Wedding Cake.
It's allll Over from there.
Some hype moments here and there but overall in decline trajectory

Skypea was decent for me. Not too good not too bad. In general I had nothing to complain about.
Alabasta was to me not engaging at all until the final moments of arc started.
It feels like I can skip the arc , know that SH got bounty upgrade and nothing would change.
Vivi and cobra indeed are plot points "right now" but could have judt gave us a flashback like paul.
I would say give those amount of chapters to elbaf , I would enjoy norse cultural setup more.

Alabasta had multiple cities all with a different specialty that impacted the arc (for example establishing Nanohana as a perfume city and that being brought back up later when Sanji used that perfume as a signal for chopper to find them) there were multiple animals that all had engaging moments (Kung fu Dugong, Pincers the crab and eyelashes the camel) and the island just felt so huge that it would take days to traverse it. Compared to Wano which looked big but could be transversed in like a day…
Combine that with the most competent and intimidating enemies of the arc, incredibly competent straw hats, competent and engaging side characters, Alabasta is hard to beat. And Skypeia did similar stuff with the world building and characters and all the straw hats genuinely seemed engaging and no one felt like a waste of panel time.
Water Seven was amazing and is my favorite arc in terms of story, with interesting and cool or funny side characters, real stakes and tensions within the Straw Hats with the Go Merry being broken and Luffy taking a real and mature decision by deciding to take a new ship, his and Usopp's fight over it and Usopp leaving the crew as a result (while also revealing that he had been thinking about it for a while due to his insecurities, losing the money and being weaker than the M3), and the CP9 being a really cool, intimidating and dangerous antagonistic group that smashed the Straw Hats, plus the stuff with Pluton, etc...
Nah DR is still better. It has also a million side characters but Doffy carried the whole arc and Kyros was really interesting.
Here we have an Admiral, all the Gorosei, Lucci & Kaku and Vegapunk's revelation after 15+ years and the best thing that happened during EH was Garp v Kuzan, Teach vs Law and Shanks one shotting Kid.
