Kaido and Vegapunk really go hand in hand in that regard. There was so much build up for them since Post-Enies Lobby which was practically 17 or 18 years ago, and Thriller Bark goes further by tying Kaido directly to Moria and the revelations Kuma made about Vegapunk, then you had all the teasing from Oda in the SBS about how Kaido might do this, or that Vegapunk would reveal that, and it all just fell so flat. Even Big Meme for all her lameness at least had some fun moments and a developed backstory, even if we only saw her childhood and not much of her actual pirating career outside of glimpses.

Yeah I cant blame you at all, it feels like how I did with MHA before, just losing interest in it and becoming apathetic. I was saying to a friend the other day, I barely get angry or sad anymore at OP and Oda, its just more numbness, exhaustion. Im gradually detaching myself from it.
I've noticed some people have outright stopped following the series too and become inactive here too and I cant blame them. Oda has too much of a strangehold on me over certain things in OP like he has for decades and with MANY other fans of it too so we're stuck at his mercy, the Stockholm Syndrome/Sunk Cost Fallacy/copium keeping us stuck like barnacles but we're suffering for it too.
I can't believe Oda has written Bonney this way. Somehow worse than the typical damsel stuff that he also did with her and taken to the most opposite extreme too, a Mary Sue. He retconned Luffys DF, Shinobus and now hers. Who next? Urouge? Blackbeard? An Admiral? (Lmao nah he wont, sigh but maybe he might for Akainu to wank him and make him stronger but I doubt it.)
We should be sooner or later, yeah. In a few hours or so at most.
