Chapter Discussion So much for Ifrit Jambe πŸ’€

You may scoff at the fact that Oda didn't give enough spotlight to Sanji's final attack, but there's nothing that changes IJ's power here.

It could be Kaido's strongest attack, or Garp's strongest attack, or any top tier that uses sudden attacks, none of them are doing much for Nika's tank ballon form, which is a defense that repels physical attacks.

i thought it ignored durability but apparently that was headcanon
Not only that, apparently his IJ is hotter than magma yet Luffy just left a small "ow" at it, even though Bonney and Franky hit him too.
Mars' casual beam attack damaged G5 Balloon Luffy way more than their combined attack.
If this isn't the ultimate disrespect towards a character, Idk what is tbh.

That's just a cheap excuse from y'all. He should perform better fighting wise and that's a fact. What's the point of the story being the focus if he's dumb ass keeps allowing people to get hurt/get killed. Or is that also part of the story?
That only comes from your expectations of him being too high, a common problem among you Sanji fans.

In fact he was always portrayed to be flawed (like how he can't deal with women, when other nakama doesn't have any shortcomings). So, he won't get an ideal 100% execution to everything.

And "allowing people to get hurt/get killed"? What kind of manga are you reading? Oda literally uses Sanji to be a savior all the time. That's the opposite of allowing people to get hurt/killed.

Or are you deleting your memories from scenes like Sanji saving Luffy in Arlong Park's pool, Arc Maxim, Gate of Justice, Doffy's onslaught, Momo's execution, etc?

I get that you're butthurt Oda didn't write Sanji like the way you want him to, but these scenes are real and actually happening on panels.

Idk why Sanjis performance this chapter makes such a ruckus, Oda has been doing that shit in Dressrosa and way before aswell whenever Sanji encounters someone relative to Luffy. Is it really that important for many to "show" that Sanji isn't on par with Zoro either?

Internal damage huh you idiot . This is Sanjis strongest attack in the series look how Oda treats that Bum! You should have known when he landed a 68 piece combo on a luffy who didn’t defend that he was trash

Sanji fans wanting him to be more than what he is. A classic delusional fanboy.

He can't perform better if it's more than what he actually capable of.
You can't expect a F1 car to be faster than a raptor jet. You can't expect a truck to hold more than a cargo ship.

The sooner you realize that Sanji isn't an omnipotent character you want him to be, the better your mind & heart in reading Oda's story.

In case you're not familiar with One Piece fandom, they have a high level of obsession in trashing & mocking Sanji.

You would notice if you've been to places like social media, forums, chats, etc.

All Im saying is that Oda would not write Zoro using his strongest attack to backshot Luffy to throw a Old Man away:milaugh:
Zoro's strongest attacks are sword-based moves, which is unsuitable to send an Elder flying. He would just split/cut the Elder, which isn't the goal here.

I do indeed frequent those places, but its still always baffling to me how much ruckus this shit always makes when its just typical Oda using Sanji as hypetool all over again.
