LOda is making a huge mistake in trying to overhype events in his story. It only tricks the audience into thinking that its going to be something way bigger than it actually is and will only lead to massive disappointment. He should have just stuck with the story from the Straw Hats perspective from here on out or since the timeskip and not focus so much on global reactions outside of cover page stuff or Reverie drama, because now he's setting the bar too high for him to ever reach.

Makes me hope that at least one day someone somewhere in Japan or even Toei releases the original 5 year draft of One Piece's story before Oda decided to expand it. Or at the very least a continuation of Toei's Romance Dawn 2 adaptation to at least see what might've been.
