Controversial Shanks encounter with Kidd did nothing positive for the story?

Other than Illogical statements from fans such as
"THIS IS WHY SHANKS IS THE STRONGEST " his fans can say although they're wrong
"KID is done finally,..." Zoro fans and kid haters rejoicing

And

Ruining every build-up Oda did for new generations and Old Gen, and running Kidd's character

Him being at elbaf at that time already felt convenient out of the blue.
The whole "good and perfect leader" wank to say kid is evil FOR ATTACKING A YONKO FLEET cause "they are weak pirates" is nothing but silly writing lol
Like nothing here was natural nor great story wise.

It only enforces that Shanks is nothing but a mere self-insert character meant for fanservice to boost sales

Even Marineford wasn't originally planned, but back then at least it was okay since he didn't really make other top tiers nor high tiers to look bad to hype Shanks

And when it's an Important Character, They deserve a Memorable Scene

Dorry/Brogy's Signature Attack was revealed against Island Sized Fish
Ace's Signature Attack was revealed against Baroque Works Ships
Crocodile's Signature Attack was revealed against a Town (Yuba)
Blackbeard's Signature Attack was revealed against a Town
Law & Kid's Signature Attacks were revealed against Big Mom
Kaidou's Signature Attack was revealed against Luffy (One-Shot)
Oden's Signature Attack was revealed against Kaidou
... etc

Some of these Scenes are Important for Story but most of them are just Fan Service to reveal how Strong those Major Characters are, and you can't do that without something or someone to play Victim Card

Sometimes it's a Town (Like Crocodile, BB, Garp), Sometimes it's a Big Obstacle (Like Akainu, Ace, Sabo), Sometimes it's an Animal (Like Enel, Dorry/Brogy, Luffy), Sometimes it's a Large Group of People (Like Kuma, Magellan, Hancock), Sometimes it's against a Henchman (Like Jinbe, Yamato,) and Sometimes it's a Major Character (Like Kaidou, Oden, Kid and Shanks)

You're only Mad cuz it was Kid who was used this Time, should We also complain about every Power Reveal just cuz They mostly don't push the Story forward & main Highlight of them is showing how Strong that Character is?

Shanks is a Swordsman, showing off his Signature Technique on Environment isn't gonna do it Justice, cuz his Fighting Style doesn't work like Logia or other DFs, only another Character can be used to show how Strong Shanks Technique is, and please enlighten me, who's better Candidate than Kid?!

As Law said, the Weak don't decide how They die, and Kid was Weak enough to play Role of Hype Victim for Shanks Power Reveal & Strong enough for the Feat to be Impressive & Impactful, doing it on anyone Stronger than Kid would have De-Hyped most Top Tiers, doing it on anyone Weaker than Kid wouldn't have given Shanks Power Justice

We've seen the Main Character in multiple Humiliating "You Died" Scenes, We saw it against Crocodile, against Aokiji, against Kaidou, against Magellan, against Kizaru, against Lucci, against Akainu (Indirectly), He was even used as Hype Tool for Signature Attack Reveal of likes of Caesar & Apoo, and you think your Kid (The 97541'st Important Character in Story) is gonna be an Exception? lmao

I mean Blackbeard & his Crew were Used as Hype Tool for Magellan, but when it comes to Shanks vs Kid? It ruins the Story
