After Kaido, you'd think Kid would have learned his lesson...he didn't and deserved everything! and even then he still got ''spared'' the humiliation of watching his crew get decimated before he fell, it would have been an even better ending for this shitty character.

Teach won’t beat Shanks
Shanks is legit a rat who avoids any serious fights.
He could have beat Teach if he teamed up with Marco in the payback war, but his ass did nothing.
In chapter 1 he went off about how he’d never forgive someone who hurts his nakama, yet he didn’t do shit to Kaido, who killed Oden.
Instead of challenging Kaido or BM, he just waited for the supernova to beat them and took the poneglyphs from Kid.
I’m convinced Shanks vs Teach will be nothing more than a short clash confirming that Teach has ACoC and can split the sky.
I think Shanks will actually more or less do nothing until Luffy beats Teach making Shanks his final obstacle to One Piece.

Funniest thing about this is how Shanks made sure Kidd “was healed” after his fight as to not contradict himself after what he said to Greenbull, then proceeded to sneak attack him murder his crew and decimate his ship leaving him to the sharks
His actions just don’t make sense. Teach has been growing in power since pre skip.

the government was trying to kill luffy since he first made himself known as a major threat in alabasta. its strongly implied rob lucci was specifically given orders to kill luffy.
in chapter 382 they already accomplished their mission and captured franky and robin, but Lucci holds them back and says "regardless of who is in charge of this unit, we're loyal to the world government" and when spandam asks him what he wants, he says "blood, when we're here, murder is justified."
later, in chapter 404, cp9 is being tailed by chimney and her cat. Spandam asks why Rob Lucci didn't eliminate them, and Lucci says that he only kills who he's been ordered to. Considering he tries to kill Luffy and targets him specifically in this arc, this strongly suggests Rob Lucci was ordered to kill Luffy.
also Kuma specifically offered to help Moria take down Luffy.

Law kept Smoker’s heart instead of giving it away and actually saved him
Law saved Sanji from being cooked salami by Doffy
