You should know why Katakuri appeared so late. Oda redid his entire character. This was the planned Katakuri. He was called Katakuri because "katakuriko" means flour and he had the "Powder Powder no Mi".
This is why also his name now makes no sense with the "Mochi Mochi no Mi", while Smoothie, Cracker and Snack's names are all related to their DFs.
