27 years of waiting and waiting just to be shown every single time how uninterested he is and the author with tackling anything related to him and swordsmanship. A bulllshit dream that was dumped when one piece got popular and oda finished using Zoro. Bamboozled people for almost 3 decades and doesn't have anything to root for the next years to come.

You cant fight anyone else because you are the strongest.
That's why Mihawk is retired. That's why Mihawk comes after everyone else.
The one who comes last is by definition not a stepping stone. Or there is another definition that I am unaware of?

Honestly it is very likely at this point that his only big fight will be Zoro. When he went rogue because the warlord system was abolished was a great moment to show some fire and hype him up but now that Oda made him go under Buggy so that he could be delivered to Zoro when the time is ripe speaks very ill for his chances to have some big fights, or actual relevance as some sort of player instead of only being a pawn (and he was basically used, and sacrificed his potential, to reinforce the Buggy joke on the top of that).

I think oda is bound to deliver on what mihawk actually is
someone that can stand on part with some of the strongest pirates ucrrently in the story
however theres a part of the fanbase that keeps arguing for much more than that
for those sort of expectations I will gladly say zero hope.

I didn't make any assumption, 90% of this community calls Mihawk a fraud.
And I've seen some of your posts previously where you have made claims that Venus (a swordsman) is stronger than Mihawk. So yes I'm right when I say you're lacking brain cells
