People are free to put value where they want. I would put it healthcare. I would even put trades of people who build and keep are world functioning over philosophy. I don't want my house falling on my head or a bridge build by someone who didn't know what they were doing collapsing under me.
of course.

Actually yes it matters a lot. It demonstrates where the skills and where the efforts are. So please answer the question :

What can Elon Musk produce without his employees ?
My guy, he is CEO, he makes decisions about the company, you can say what you want about the man but he obv has skills to have a multi billion worth company and that is worth a lot of money in terms on paycheck

To him workers are expendable, if 10 doesn't wanna work for that money he'll find 10 in 12 hours that will

Bro, its shtf everyday for everyone that has sudden medical problem. Doctors are more valuable because their skills are more IMPORTANT. Its probably the most important profession out there
I don't get these people looking down on doctors and underestimating the amount of stress and effort it takes to get there. You're under a lot of pressure to deliver, you have human lives to take care off.
It's natural to be high risk high reward. Doctors really don't earn that much considering the risk and responsibility.

Even with AI and robots eventually replacing medical staff, those would still need human oversight to ensure they follow the best interest of patients. And to be an overseer for that sort of thing you'll need to keep learning, all your life.

I don't understand the commie mindsets. Sure UBI eventually will be brought in through CBDCs and everyone gets some basic income, where do they think the incentive for progress and upholding society comes from?

Everything has a value, but not all things have the same value
Human have the same value.

:kayneshrug:

Medicine>Philosophy
Again, No.

The problem with you guys is that relativism has destroyed the notion of hierarchy/sense of proportion in your minds
The problem with you mate, is that you are incapable of recontextualizing informations and concepts.

Medecine is more important than Philosophy when it comes to help people heal.
Philosophy is more important than medecine when it comes to make people think.

Simple.

Everything has a value, but not all things have the same value. Some things are inherently more valuable to us due to our needs. Healthcare>>>fucking philosophy lmfao
Ok, its still false, but lets extrapolate your thinking shall we ? Answer me :

Do you think that being a business owner is more valuable than being an amazing surgeon ?

Commie mindset is envy and denial about being losers. "Merit doesn't exist" :pepecopium:

Depends which kind of philosophy and what topics it covers.

It's really ridiculous how these folks say "oh writers should earn more". Which writers? What niche of writers? Follow the market trends and demands.

Some writers make good money others don't.

Some philosophers earn also very good money by selling interesting books. Hah! Or rather it depends what they focus on and what value they bring to society.

That is not even about value. Medicine isn't supposed to debate fundamental concepts. Philosophy isn't supposed to heal people either. Healing people is something that is in demand 24/7 since forever. Thinking about concepts and methaphysics? Not so much. Law of demand and supply is what determines value, not your feelings about it. If you can create a living for hundreds or thousands of people? Yes!!! Society is what judges this stuff.

Some do,but high level of knowledge doesn't mean everything has the same value. Medicine>Philosophy. The problem with you guys is that relativism has destroyed the notion of hierarchy/sense of proportion in your minds. Once you lose that, you lose discernment.

You could say that if I was comparing a cleaning lady to an astronaut. I have senses of hierarchy but with respect, not much with money

People barely read nowadays. Which is also a problem. But « follow the trend » is an immature take.
