General & Others After seeing the Shanks vs Kidd episode

#1
Many people were saying that Kidd got done in through a combo of Divine Departure and Kidds own attack exploding on his face when the chapter happened, I thought they were coping but after seeing the episode. I went and reread the chapter and after Shanks does Divine Departure on Kidd its accompagnied by a huge explosion. Now I dont think his Divine Departure caused that explosion lol, especially when Rogers didnt.

So the conclusion is Kidd got defeated because of Divine Departure and his own attack backfiring on him.

What do you guys think?

It's obvious that Damned Punk backfiring on Kidd was key-factor in sealing his defeat.
It's also obvious that Devine Departure alone would've badly wounded him regardless.

Anyway, anime is ALWAYS to enjoy for the smoothness of it and nothing more.
Only canon facts come from the panels of the manga, everything else is contrivance.

Sure anime isnt canon but it also wont make up a fights ending, the explosion is in the manga too.

How else do you think Killer got wrecked if there was not explosion ?????????????????????????
I thought he was too close to Kidd and got hit by Divine Departure too.

it didnt
u gotta look at it from oda's perspective

the entire chapter was made solely to reveal shanks' sword style and kidd was the hypetool for it
it makes no sense for the result to be there cause of some external factor

shanks also had 0 scratch from the explosion
I mean there is literally an explosion dwarfing the ship and DD doesnt cause an explosion.

Shanks might have protected himself with Haki.

One shoting Kidd that way is still hype because Im pretty sure without his own Ultimate exploding on his face he wouldve still been badly damaged.

But we cant deny the fact that there was an explosion right after Shanks cut Kidds Railgun lol. That would be intellectually dishonest imo.

It's not 100% clear, but really looks like he was caught in the combo (DD + DP backfire)

After all he was coming in to either stop/attack Shanks or to move Kidd out of the way.
In both cases he was in range to get hit by both the forces.
How was killer hit lol
He not on the screen
It was the exp

Zoro vs King ended the same way in the anime and in the manga
no it didn't, the fuck did you see?

In manga King was stupid retard who turned off his flame and was just standing still
in the anime King had his flame on and charged at Zoro for the final attack

Nothing is the same
I forgot what happened with Sanji and Queen
Queen got up no problem after Sanji's attacks and Sanji did the finished with only 1 kick instead of series of kicks and Queen was not sent flying upwards but down
