The other guy straight up said Mihawk cannot be stopped if he set his sights on becoming Pirate King, both of which are patently false.

And about Roger’s path to PK, you’re misconstruing the statements from Luffy, Chinjao, Big Mom, etc which don’t necessarily apply to Roger himself but rather the next Pirate King after him. Roger may have not needed to do as much but in the current timeline the path to becoming the next Pirate King is much more difficult and being the strongest is pretty much required as evidenced by all those panels I posted.
