I think Luffy probably does have Joyboy’s haki bag. However I doubt he’s unlocked it yet.

I think that could be his power up against Teach. Joyboy haki is so strong it can negate the effects of teleportation and send the gorosei back. Hence it should also be able to negate the yami.

Hitetsu arguably knows more about kokuto forging than anyone not named mihawk. Yet when he brings up the matter to zoro, he never mentions coc or anything relating to it. Doesn't mention it by the wano name of "oden's special trick" or whatever either.

Meaning it's something else that makes a kokuto.
