How much haki was stored in the big Strawhat at the Holy Lands we think?
The scene where Nami first got Conqueror's Haki:
This was meant to be a joke at first, but what if that is why only a few people can use Conqueror's Haki?
What if CoC HAS to be passed on to someone else? So, Shanks has it BECAUSE Roger taught him. Not everyone can learn it, because only so many people can teach it.
Just like the initial of "D" is likely given to others (like Sabo by Ace), what if Conqueror's Haki must be passed down?
This would TOTALLY explain why the D are so reviled and hunted; they are the legacy of the former "Supreme Kings" and the people who spread that Haki.
I just realized Roger probably gave Shanks the D. I could reword that sentence but I'm choosing not to in protest of Sealed Haki.
This chapter broke my mind, and we don't even have a full summary.
