Jojo always has phenomenal main villains heck thinking about them Pucci is probably my second from the bottom in terms of them:
Dio
Valentine
Kira
Diavolo
Pucci
Cars

I’m not sure where to put
Tooru
but he’d be above Pucci imo
Disagree heavily on Tooru. Imo from the moment he came into the picture the story started to suffer and became a drag till the end

CoC: Color of Clowns

Force Choke the Chicken
I hate loda for ending the arc without explaining the elders powers despite teasing it so heavily
Elbaf will most likely explain "magic" in the series. The Giants have large enough life spans that they are the Race/Tribe most likely to have detailed information on the past, probably safeguarded.

The Ancient Robot is clearly inspired by the classic movie Laputa to some extent, IMO. In Castle in the Sky/Laputa, and old robot came to life and blew up a military base. Sound familiar? After, Laputa, the Castle in the Sky, had more of these Ancient Robots.

I wouldn't be surprised if Elbaf has Ancient Robot Pacifista.

If Giants can live up to 400 years old, that means a Giant could have had a Grandfather alive during the Void Century. (Saul was not born in Elbaf, he would have only gained Void Century information after the Giants recovered the books from Ohara, that Vegapunk read in Elbaf with Saul's permission.

I'd expect Elbaf is when we TRULY learn how Haki/Devil Fruits work.

I never understood arguments like these - it was released on a monthly schedule in a monthly magazine. Of course it should be judged based on that.
Is it easier to binge series? Yeah. But fans that are caught up with the story and that spend money on these magazines are there to gauge the story as it comes out.

Shonen Jump fans often give this argument as to why something is bad - "you gotta read it as a volume, trust". Bet, let them skip the weekly releases and just release a volume every 10 weeks.
Well this isn’t the One piece situation because this is monthly OVER 10 goddamn years

Get it? People forget is my point… It’s 10 years… it’s highly unlikely many of the fans reading the last chapter of part 8 even remember shit like the doobie wah arc… DO YOU remember the Doobie Wah arc?

Your argument makes sense in situations like One piece that’s which are both WEEKLY and arcs last 3/4 years AT MAX… and also these forums exist where people discuss all these chapter further making it harder to forget what happened each arc

This is different for JoJo’s part 8 lasting 10 year monthly and people not discussing it that much compared to other manga

@NikaInParis @Fujishiro and whoever else, rank your parts.
Golden Wind
Battle Tendency
Diamond is Unbreakable
Stardust Crusaders
Stone Ocean
Phantom Blood.

Part 1 being last is obvious.

Parts 3 and 4 are pretty interchangeable. One of the problems I had with part 3 is that the Stand abilities didn’t feel creative enough. I mean, the abilities of the main cast’s stands were:

1. Punching really hard and being precise
2. Swinging a sword really fast
3. Breathing fire
4. Vines and being able to do that weird divination thing with electronics
5. Whatever the hell Hierophant Green’s power was supposed to be

Araki got more creative with the Stand abilities in Part 4, but I didn’t like how half of it was slice of life.

Barely any of the Stands in Part 5 missed. The Stands’ abilities were really creative and it didn’t feel like there were many asspulls in the fights. The main cast earned most of their victories. The plot was interesting, the entire main cast was enjoyable, the animation was great. Not really anything to complain about.

One of my biggest problems with Part 6 is that Araki just totally abandoned logic in many of the fights. Many of the fight conclusions were reaching Loda levels of nonsense writing tbh.

Part 2 had the best Jojo, the Pillar Men were awesome, and the comedy was at its best imo

Pucci’s motivations and backstory was subtle and well-written, he was a serious villain from the start. He might lack the “over the top personality” like the other Jojo villains but that’s what kind of makes him compelling for a Jojo character.
I like Kira the best even though he’s just a crazy serial killer lol, it was fun watching him in part 4.

Kira is the best Jojo villain because he feels real, his motivations. Everything. It hits closer to home because people like him exist in the world minus the stand power of course.
