Eh it doesn’t really need it. Those two things are not important at all and Kizaru was not a main character. He was sidelined the moment Saturn made his appearance

You’re forgetting this is the same mangaka who gave Enel an entire adventure in a cover story. The stuff you mention imo is extremely out of character of Oda to do

Kizaru was a main character. He was involved in Kumas flashback, Vegapunks life and death, and sentomarus story as well.

Yep, its fascinating in retrospect because really no other arc has let the villain win so cleanly. Outside of like 2 or 3 VAs, nobody really got hurt or knocked out. Kizaru and the Gorosei are fine. They killed 5 of 7 VPs. Secured everything, even disabled a ton of Mark 3 Pacifista's that stay on their side.

The only real loss is Saturn not being able to kill Bonney or Kuma, thats basically it.

Saturn didn’t really care for Bonney until he got in his feelings and Kuma is probably getting a Viking funeral so it’s not like Saturn really failed

JoYBoy haki should have effected allies too... Atleast should have shown something like shanks in WBs ship.... As this was just a release of haki like BM did rather than controlled haki attack which oda likes to sell to save fodder SHs

Well dont be disappointed if next chapter we’ve moved on from Egghead. Nothing from Oda’s writing style tells me he’s going to dedicated chapters to the leftovers. It’s not important at all

I still really hope Oda doesn’t send Kizaru back to the marines, for this arc not to change Kizarus ideology at all would be pretty bad. Like not only did he have to kill his friend, but he learned the WG has the power to flood the entire world.

It would be pretty neat if he just shows up on the ship as a temporary ally lol. Would be a pretty major twist tbh.

But honestly Im worried Oda is going to do just that, leave it for another time (i.e. years) and really resolve nothing with this character this arc.

These characters aren’t the leftovers. Oda dedicated multiple chapters to Marineford after Luffy was taken from the plot as well to show the WBP escaping.

Eh I really hope not. His flashback was perfect and his death was the climax of it. Him smiling is just like that zombie from thriller bark smiling. It’s their innate freedom/will going beyond death. A message oda loves to write

They are leftovers to the arc. Kizaru is alive so oda can always bring him back and Stussy CP0 storyline has been handled off screen before so nobody would bat an eye if it’s done again
