In March 2023, Khelif was disqualified for failing to meet eligibility criteria shortly before her gold medal bout at the 2023 IBA Women's World Boxing Championships. The Algerian Olympic Committee said Khelif was disqualified for medical reasons. It was later reported that the disqualification was due to high levels of testosterone.[7][8] International Boxing Association president Umar Kremlev said DNA testing of Khelif and other athletes "proved they had XY chromosomes and were thus excluded from the sports events".[9] Khelif is not transgender, but has a disorder of sex development (DSD), which causes some females to have XY chromosomes and blood testosterone levels typical of a male.[10][11] In Algeria, the country that Khelif represents, transgender identity is prohibited, changing gender or sex on identity documents is not permitted, nor are medical or hormonal treatments allowed to transition to another sex. Khelif made an appeal before the Court of Arbitration for Sport but later withdrew it,[3] making the IBA decision legally binding.[12] In 2024, the IBA said that Khelif and others "did not undergo a testosterone examination but were subject to a separate and recognized test, whereby the specifics remain confidential".[13]
I find it a bit absurd that such a genetic peculiarity is not taken into consideration, specially given the segregation between sports is the only thing allowing female athletes to actually have a fair fight.

She should be clearly disqualified due to the simple fact that she have high testosterone.

The Algerian boxer is Intersex like Caster Semenya with higher amounts of Testosteron and chromosomes different than usual with her genitalia. Algeria (my fathers country) would never allow a transgender person in their team since its a country where even Lesbian and Gays are illegal.

Intersex and Transgender have similarities in terms of discrimination and so on, but its not the same thing. One thing is related with brain development, the other with chromosomes and sexual organs development. As for the other Taiwanese boxer idk.

So what's your point?

Is what happened is what you consider fair play?
