I don't mind more "robot stuff". Why did he have to kill off all VegaPunks? We could have had some nice make-over of One Piece world. The Renaissance of the Ancient Kingdom Technology and then all pirates fight with lasers and we get Enel as the Lunar emperor waging war on Earth.

There's so much untapped potential if he wanted to go down that route ...

Since this is One Piece it's totally possible that at leasf one or two of them have survived.
