You sure this is your first time playing? You know, the only time a person true nature gets exposed, is when you throw them into the deep end. When you strip away all hope, then you see their true nature. You have to be ruthless, there is no mercy, no love in mafia. It's either kill or be killed.

it's just that it's too early to tell whether there are any narratives being thrown around unless it's painfully and blatantly manipulative. day 1 tends to be used to gain foresight since this is mostly a phase where everyone is feeling each other out and looking for clues to their alignment
albeit there are a few players that are really good going by just instinct. that tends to be because of them being familiarized with certain players and how they approach things as town/scum/etc. for me my gut reads are a hit or miss

Although I am not the biggest fan of people relying too heavily in meta, but after being away for such a considerable time, I guess it's good to get some idea of how people behave in their respective alignment.
