The way I see it is Mihawk is the better swordsman, where Shanks is overall stronger. Like Sanji and Jimbei are better martial artists then Luffy, but he's still stronger.

I think , it isn't his time yet that's why ; we all can say the same happened for other characters like for example Dragon ? and we all know this mf is very very strong because of MC's tax yet he postponed at each main event that even people started to see Sabo as the leader and not Dragon .

Shanks literally used CoC in chapter 1 and has been hyped for CoC in every other appearances. The acoc glazers thinks Mihawk will really outcoc the poster boy for coc 🤣

They wrote themselves in a corner with haki/coc glazing after Zoro unlocked it. Now they’re forced to push Mihawk as being the best COC user in the series above Roger and Shanks even though he has never been hype for that once since his introduction back in East Blue. Even in Zoro flashback of his training with Mihawk after the Pica fight it was about armement haki
