ONE PIECE CHAPTER 1123: The Void Fortnight

I’d like to believe that I’m very forgiving when it comes to One Piece. Even with the dragged out broadcast chapters I was going to give the arc an 8/10.
This chapter automatically drops it down to a 7 (which is honestly still generous due to the outside Egghead stuff).

This entire conflict has been pointless. Vegapunk could have saved the entire world some trouble. The Strawhats could have listened to the broadcast on the way to Elbaf instead of being mired down in all the bullshit that took place.
It’s Wano all over again where the entire conflict could have been skipped if a main figure wasn’t such an idiot!

7 is way way too generous at this point. I think the anime can save this arc somewhat, I will probably enjoy it, they already made me enjoy Luffy vs Lucci, while I thought that fight was mediocre as hell in the manga. Seraphim were also much cooler in the anime, Luffy vs Kizaru is gonna be great too. Oda just refuses to draw fights and yet this arc was filled with them, that in itself tells you something is wrong with this arc. You can't have an arc filled with fights, but then refuse to draw every single one of them. Who tf even does that?

And the outside events still carry it, they inflate the rating for this arc, Kuma's flashback was Oda in prime form too, just for that section and then he went back on his bs. Vegapunk was a load of shit.

I feel like I’m losing my mind. I thought nothing could be worse than Hitler Hiyori closing out the Wano arc.
What on earth happened to Oda?!?!?!

I have been asking myself the same question since the second half of WCI, and even more since Onigashima.

Wano was the most trash arc Loda wrote but egghead is terrible as well it’s like the clown didn’t learn single thing. Editors never gave him any constructive criticism about Wano
