He should just write a short book of the end so we know atleast what should happen if he dies. Like 50-100 pages. I dont understand why more people dont make that.

as far as i know, Oda's family would have to give the go ahead for them to finish the story

If it happens, jump wouldn't risk the societal outrage by pulling a stunt like that.

Look at berk. After Miura died, Koji Mori took over and has said they're only doing the most barebone stuff to finish the story.

I'd imagine oda has also explained the ending to his family/friends. At least some of them. So they'd easily recognize artificial prolonging of the story.
