People doesnt understand that the Kizaru scene plot wise is more important for Akainu's evolution. Remember also the scene when he fought Kuma during Egghead. This guy is about to rebel to Gorosei!
Basically,what you wanted from Kizaru you will get it from Akainu.

Yep. Those scenes all end adding more and more depth to Akainu but obviously we need a dedicated portion where we only get stuff about him.
