Same zoro with a broken body scars said 2nd most durable character pre power up.
Zoros ap then raises exponentially through koh.
Zoros ap is already monstrous

Fatty is a normal human with above average endurance
Endurance means nothing to swordsmen

There’s only 2 things you need to ask yourself:
1. Do you think current Zoro as he is can beat Teach or is even on his level?
2. Do you think that Zoro can land an Asura?

I know the answer to number 1, Zoro isn’t. And if your answer to number 2 is yes then Teach doesn’t get one-shotted, simple. Because that means that Teach will lose the fight.

Still cant get over how fuckin weird this arc was. It answers and accomplishes a lot but for literally no one to lose appropriately and have their character resolution in a 64 chapter arc is just the weirdest thing Oda has done by far in this series.

Genuinely felt like if Water 7 (not including Ennies lobby) was the length of Skypeia.

Well the problems within One Piece started well before Wano, early postskip arcs also had their issues, Dressrosa with its slowness and dragging for example, they just erupted stronger than before during WCI and got even worse during Wano that had Dressrosa and WCI issues combined in even worse.

The problem that has persisted since the Tamatebakko is the absolute lack of real tension and stakes, and too many and great asspulls such as Nika and everthing that Oda did with and to Big Mom for examples, and of course the fact that arcs last too long and are stalled and stalled, while the arc conclusion is incredibly rushed for both Wano and Egghead.

These problems need to be adresse and corrected for the story to really get better.

One can only hope its because he's been trying to get to Elbaf or some future plotline quicker and he realized its taking him ages to get to these things, but idk anymore.

If Elbaf doesnt address the 4th RP, Marines or a Yonko, then Im afraid it could just be another oddly paced arc. Too long yet somehow rushed.

It was a filler arc to allow Oda to buy time to actually figure out what he’s going to do next. Time will tell whether he managed to accomplish that or not.

And for those ready to defend and say it’s not a filler arc, sure, there was some exposition, but it could’ve been a quarter of the length it was without really losing anything. Oda in his pre ts writing style wouldn’t have had it be more than 30 chapters for the same amount of development.
