Maybe, but honeslty I think this Is not the case.

Even SW, that we the film in which Oda was involved the most, was not canon for the "present" part. Film Red didn't happen in the timeline of the manga, so they can't talk about It because then they would have to cancel what happened in the film or opposte make the film like the manga.
