Yaesu was truly a great person who sacrificed himself for others.
Vegapunk was a greedy scientist who created weapons of mass descructed, conducted tests on minorities and worked alongside Yokai to kill and create a clone army.
It is very diferent

And his words when Yasu died weren't "Someone Great just died"
It was "Someone just died"
Respecting death is, or was pretty ingrained/important with the Buddhist ideology that zoro is based off of.
Here, oda just completely negates all that. Makes zoro say something out of character. All for what? To give an excuse for goofy failing his promise?
Instead of this being a learning moment/character development for goofy and the shp, oda uses zoro and lilith to downplay it completely.
Even when the shp fail, they are not allowed to think they've failed. It's trash writing.
No it's not the same
With Yasuie zoro felt angry
What zoro is trying to say is as a younko is okay if luffy is sad and crying but he shouldn't be so depressed and should get over with it soon: that's should be a yonko image and what do you want me to say he is right
If you remember this it's the same that Jinbe told him after ace death but we should all know Zoro's character he always says things in a harsh way but without hurting feelings (like davy back fight chopper or Ussop can't go back to the crew till he apologise)

What zoro should have said is to learn from the mistake. Not downplay the death of punk and the broken promise of goofy.
