What i was tinfoiling is Watson probably could get rewarded by winning the duel that is absorb ability or entire role, which fits given the role RK claimed.

Another thing, Watson didn't had to use duel here, they could've simply dropped Banner to leave the game and get next in line lynched. RK was immune to votes anyway? So why waste duel if RK and Watson were team?

I dont think their goal was to save Watson as much as it was causing harm and confusion to town by misslyncing mango or me
