Frieren had its anime end back in March and got that typical Season 1 massive boost. JJK and Spy already had that kind of boost. But Frieren is also too slow to update and the authors take constant hiatuses.

It does have a bit of CSM syndrome too. Individual chapters usually are just ok, weekly reading is pretty mid

Who are some other characters that ran a more challenging gauntlet than Sukuna?

Sukuna faced:

1. Gojo (with some help from Utahime and Gakuganji for the 200% Hollow Purple)
2. Kashimo
3. Yuji/Higuruma/Kusakabe/Ino/Choso
4. Yuta/Rika/Yuji
5. Maki
6. Kusakabe
7. Yuji/Miguel/Larue/Ino/Choso/Maki
8. Yuji/Todo
9. Yuta in Gojo’s body
10. Yuji/Todo/Hana

Before finally being finished off by Yuji with help from Megumi and Nobara

I don't think as numerous as Sukuna. The most I count with Kaido is 6 (Scabbards, Supernovas, Luffy Round 1, Yamato, Luffy Round 2 Gear 5), Aizen has a good gauntlet with about 7 I count (Shinji, Captains/Vizards, Yamamoto, Ichigo Round 1, Seireitei Reject Trio, Ichimaru, and Ichigo Round 2), Madara was LONG ago (and I don't like Naruto) but I know his span lasted like 150 chapters which puts Sukuna to shame length wise.

90% of people complaining about it are just complaining for the sake of memes. It’s gonna break the Internet when it’s animated

A never-ending battle like this gets tiring to read on a weekly basis. When you read this in volume format it's a spectacle from start to finish.

Sukuna is a beast through and through, what it took to take this guy down, even if someone else in another series has technically required more, it sure as hell wasn't presented the way Gege managed to present this. Every major player was involved, sometimes not once, but twice, and with twists to it everytime. Sukuna had an answer every damn time too. Tactics, brains, brawns, talent, improv, everything was at full display here. Can't be mad at that.

I really couldn't gaf that Uraume vs Hakiri was offpanelled given that we got the most jam packed final battle possible. Cutting to Uraume while a much bigger far more important fight is ongoing would have felt like a drag/underwhelming tbh, and Uraume going down at the same time as Sukuna works better.

I'd pray for every battle manga to get a final battle of this caliber.

People saying Madara had infinite regen act like if anybody could even land a hit on him, he was just damaging himself cause he was bored + he solo'ed almost everyone after gettibg revived blind and then with juubi

Madara was far higher than anyone and started against way lower than him

Sukuna had it hard right fo the bat and that crippled him for the rest of the fight

If i am understanding it right Sukuna didn't just rekt Gojo, he went on to the reck the entire roles sheet of JJk.
