We saw Kuzan against WB a couple times, despite WB having the tremor fruit which is a terrible matchup. He still only attempted using his fruit alone, even when ice ball just failed and WB was point blank in his face he tried to use the partisans which already failed against him earlier. Which is a ranged attack to boot, but he used it point blank.
Kuzan was actually forced to do something else against a top tier but he didn't.
What was Ryokugyu trying to accomplish against Morley?
He was trying to get Morley to reveal the location of the Revolutionary leader. He wasn’t trying to kill him, he was trying to restrain him. Since you’re so fond of Ryokugyu’s own words, try reading all of them next time instead of just the ones you can dishonestly use to argue an incorrect point.
Admiral haters really are only good at asking stupid questions without even attempting to answer them. Lol

It's pretty obvious that all the Admirals have two means to fight. Basic fruit powers for fodder control, effective because of the aoe and the fact even most commanders are helpless against it and one against Top Tiers. Kuzan is proof of this.
Now Fuji and Ryo should be obvious. Both characters they're based on are infamous swordsman and both clearly carry special swords.
Fuji's serious fighting style could be aCoC. Ryokugyu doesn't even need awakening. Swordsmanship + his fruit lethality is enough to be a threat to any Top Tier.
