Well for 1, One Piece chapters are at their best when Strawhats aren't involved.
2.Elbaf is gonna be a longer arc than Egghead, and it's an island that was hyped for decades like Wano. There's gonna be a lot of dragging in this arc.
3.Elbaf is home to Nika worshippers.
Atleast Wano sounded interesting on paper, Elbaf can't even manage to do that, imagine how boring this arc will be ontop of the Nika cringe.
Only thing that can save this arc is intervention from an outside party (Marines/WG, Teach etc.),
