Town has multiple kills and are harder to kill then mafia dude except for Kiku and Pot and like Ratchet if you arent top 5. Like please stop the bullshit here.
its really true tho, look at the deaths in the game versus the amount of kills town/mafia fired
since u like comparing to novas weebs i'll give u a direct example
in novas weebs:
- mafia couldnt merge by default
- mafia had no consig, the indies werent pro mafia, there were pure hostile indie killers and cult
- mafias had the same or a worst ratio than this. it was a 60+ player game
- town had revives, mafia didnt have janitors. only disguises
- town had a lynch every other night in addition to day lynches
- mafia had extremely limited number of lynch avoids. game removes could not block lynch
- town had some ridiculously broken roles, with kills bypassing immunities, decim, tykki, etc.. i do remember a couple were also very tanky
- mafia still won, without merging, and with alot of crossfiring. town needed to do more or less the right amount of mistakes to lose
take a look at the above and contemplate how easier this game made mafia's job to be as a whole. town is punished for things that arent really mistakes, i.e abstaining or not keeping a player as second wagon (day 2 specifically). town is also not getting fully rewarded for correct actions (shooting and lynching an outed scum). you argue that one or 2 town roles hold the key to all of town's problems but did you sit down and consider what happens if melkor died n1? what if we lynched him day 1? what if saber/yotan died early? the setup can't be very reliant on few roles for it's success, and even with most of those roles surviving till very late, town still lost.
id wager even if melkor used his ability it's limited shots and he'll be killed, meanwhile mafia will just game remove the next outed scum after killing melkor. even if TAC got lynched, the next one will be protected. our counters cannot keep up with the scum stalling abilities, just mathematically
i strongly advice you to not take things personally and instead sit down and instead of pin a big portion of the loss on few town players for not doing their job, think carefully if the outcome wud have really mattered had they done their job? how perfect do u expect town to play to win this? mafia has the advantage of being able to coordinate that town do not.
also remember in nitty's favorite game, nitty wud execute (we really needed executes here BADLY) inactive players THEN distribute their abilities to town. this is a good approach to try and solve the issue when the game is being stalled by few inactive townies unable to do their job due to irl circumstances. from the rest of the active townies PoV, the game seems impossible because they dont have the answers, they dont have the key, and thus its causing them frustration
ik im sounding harsh but alot of stuff u do in ur games i dont rly enjoy, and i can attribute most of this to ur willingness to please to some players / make everyone happy. this has to be dropped if you want to be fair. if scum r complaining ignore them, if town is doing it ignore as well. u design ur own game with confidence then must become a machine when hosting it. just take in input and produce output.
