Cmon you don't seriously believe Drake could touch Go in a 1v1? Mr.Go would counter every move he has easily, he's way too fast and skilled for Drake.

Apoo is a different matter, look how he was on the floor and could still tag Go from there. Endurance beast with hax that can catch people offguard especially in a team setting.

Show me a panel of Mr.Go's face after taking that explosion. Not to mention if one explosion didn't do it, nothing says multiple can't? Not to mention he can also throw out slashes. Not to mention even if Apoo wasn't directly the one to cause it, he could have given X Drake an opening to cause it.

Remember Luffy was temp knocked out from a single explosion, Apoo could easily incapacitate Maha for a moment, causing a distraction for Drake to do something or for him to land something on Go.

I'm going by the most reasonable scenarios given their fighting style and showings. Everything is headcanon either way.

Can Drake give Go any injuries 1v1 based on his showings? He got bodied in a 2v4.

If Drake was good enough to do this Oda could just draw a 1v1, he left things ambiguous to benefit Drake and allow Go to sustain an injury without making him look that bad, on panel I have no reason to believe Drake is doing much to a focused Mr.Go.

Nah different kind of explosion. Apoo was lying on the floor when he exploded Guernica

The size of the explosion is also different. The explosion on Luffy is much bigger. As big as Luffy body. Apoo only exploded Guernica face.

The explosion effect is also different. Bigger explosion caused a steam coming out of Luffy mouth. For Guernica there's no steam effect since the explosion size is much smaller

I need a closeup tbh, Oda is super inconsistent with drawing damage in distant panels.

Either way, I'm not gifting Drake feats. I don't believe he can do that damage to Go in a 1v1.

The most I'll give him is that in a 2v4 he found some way to damage Mr.Go.

Injured Izou was able to take on Mr. Go (stronger than Lucci) backed up by Maha 1v2 for a respectable length of time and straight up outpace Mr. Go to put him on the floor.
