General & Others Character you like but the fanbase you don't like

Looool this is hardly ganging up on anyone.

No, having a thread like this with a friendly and open discussion is a good thing. Don’t throw problems under the rug.
This topic was not meant to be toxic or cause flame war, I just ask a simple question that's it. Just to clarify even if some us don't like a certain fandom that doesn't mean we dislike all the users in that fandom, we just don't like how certain users in that fandom behaves.

The real question should be "Does the overwank make you enjoy less a character that you like?"
Not for me lol, if that was the case then both Doflamingo and Zoro wouldn't even be in my top 10 favorite characters anymore.

To be fair Every fan base can be toxic there is no character that can get out of that loop even roger can’t escape that the only one that can possibly escape that toxicity is bb fan base cuz simple you can’t hate bb he is the only pure pirate in a pirate manga .

I've seen plenty theories and people that went mad to the max the moment someone didnt believe Monet is alive. And i have also seen them insult people about it simply bcs someone believes their character is dead.

One thing is to be passionate. Other is to be toxic. And in most cases they were toxic
:kayneshrug: Would you want someone to think your favorite character is dead without full proof and evidence instead of just denying it to be assholes, because that's what happens, It's not just one sided like your saying.

I like Monet as a character very much but she is dead. And i can blindly deny it or accept it and move on. And people deny it bcs it is true not to be assholes.

Have a nice day

Definitely Sanji and Shanks, Sanji is my favorite charcter too. However, their fanbase tends to ignore manga fact and author's intent. They like to portray the two as invincible monsters and forget that there's more to the story than just fighting.
...You joined two days ago, and you just provided the most succinct takedown of the collective headcanon I’ve ever seen on this forum. Where have you been all this time that we’ve needed you??
