Doesn't mean shit. What matters here is the truth: Aokiji is part of Blackbeard Pirates and he is still not featured in colorspread.
By portrayal, Shiryu > Aokiji.
By feats, Aokiji > Shiryu but common anime trope, the weaker character goes all out before the stronger one.

It's obvious, Aokiji has better protrayal and feats

Sure pre TS Aokiji > pre TS Warden Shiryu.

The difference is Shiryu became stronger during timeskip (2 years training like straw hats). And that was still without Suke Suke.
Now he is even more stronger with Suke Suke, and maybe second DF later

While Aokiji grows weaker during timeskip because now he is crippled

At least its official color spread and not some colored drawing on a wall

Aokiji seems so much more important to the story that its pretty difficult to put any other BBP over him, even BB himself. First Admiral shown, his internal conflict shown, been part of the story throughout almost. Culmination of conflict leads to him leaving navy then wanders and then joins BBPs. Then also gets featured on that last double spread. Story of a good guy going rouge/bad and then possible redemption, a whole manga could be written on Aokiji like many other characters of OP.

Since Kuzan turned out to be a very agressive fighter with lots of openings Akainu might be very calm during battle as opossed to what you would expect of him.

1. The strongest admiral has future sight

Shanks and his crew actually getting stuff done in regards to getting rid of upstarts and those that disrespect them is nice. Of course, Shanks and co. aren't some super respectable guys, I don't mind them kinda being douches. I just hope Oda explores the non-Shanks members while there's still focus and hype on them. Shanks is Shanks, he'll get attention. I think this was a good chapter for that crew.
