Yeah I was tempted to suggest that he's the one kidnapping the soba shop girls. Wouldn't put it past Oda to bring him back. Maybe the fucker awakened lmao. Fukurokuju is based on the god of resurrection too.
We never saw the potential of the orochi fruit at all, biggest waste in the series.
