Tag team is only a thing among Sanjibois, an attempt to try sticking with Zoro.

The argument that Sanji should fight King was that they can both fly and use fire powers.

But now Marco is in Wano and is clearly much stronger than Sanji.

So shouldn't the debate be between Zoro (swordsman) and Marco (aerial)?

There's no telling about Sanji's capabilities even with his Raid Suit. Even if Usopp and Franky modified Sanji's Raid Suit for more optimization, I don't see any light of chance for Sanji at his best to make even a flick at King. I mean, I have my doubts very high, and King's level of Haki and I wonder what grade of sword he has is very likely to cut through the shield, the barrier that the Raid Suit's mantle produce.

You need a beast to take down another beast since both beasts are swordsmen with Haki over 9000.

Because marco is already on his level and zoro and Sanji r getting left behind by luffy and if they don't have a extreme high diff fight in order to power up then this isn't going to be a good showing for an official yonko crew/future pirate King.

Zoro's mobility is top notch, he just doesnt need it most of the time.
Sanji is not a help, he is a liability. Sanji joining would make the fight harder for Zoro since he would need to protect him.

Zoro needed help getting to pica statue by having someone throw him. The mobility looking a little weak.

Zoro and Sanji both can compliment their weaknesses, that being zoro with mobility and speed and Sanji with physical strength and striking power.

How is King going to touch Zoro if he flies in the sky?

Don't play dumb u know he is really fast in the sky and can use that to accelerate while cutting zoro which he won't be fast enough. Even if sanji joins in the fight he will still be slower than king but will still have a better chance to fight them together.

The problem with the idea of Zoro vs Kaido and Sanji vs King is it would mean Sanji will get to defeat his opponent himself while Zoro won’t get to defeat his. That’s not happening.

Officially, there are no ranks in Luffy's crew apart from Luffy being the captain. Practically, Zoro is the one in command when Luffy is absend, with Zoro sacrificing himself for his captain (Thriller Bark) and various people pointing out that Zoro is the kind of guy who normally shouldn't follow orders.

I'm still trying to find what does this has to do with Luffy having RH /VC
Zoro can't even lead or look after the crew when Luffy went to WCI. The crew has been under Sanji lead and care far more than Zoro's

Katakuri is an honourable character to the point where someone interfers with him and and luffy he will so far as to injure himself. If that same situation happen was to happen to Zoro he will probably love and continue to add more pain

King is too much for Zoro alone, at least until he unlocks some kind of PU during the fight, and Sanji and Zoro together are too much for King alone.

Oars is akin to Kaido (which will be a teamfight), not King.

King is getting solo'd by Zoro or Marco. They aren't tag teaming and Usopp and Chopper certainly won't be going up against commanders

he will lose the first fight with king solo but and so will sanji, the only way I can see zoro putting his pride aside and fight alone sanji will be to save a crew mate that is being torture by King.
