Questions & Mysteries Will Teach vs Shanks deliver

There is no ironclad rule, but the setup so far points towards it. I think Shanks is falling to BB while Dragon will beat a Gorosei before falling to Imu in a 4/5v1 like Enel vs Zoro/Ganfall/Robin/Wyper. Anyway, lets see what happens.

I forgot to mention that the Figarland bloodline plot thread exists for a reason. Shanks is also bound to have an interaction with the gorosei and with that interaction comes dangerously close to Imu.

It all boils down to what will happen first, Shanks interacting with BB or Shanks interacting with Garling. If the first thing that happens in the manga is the former instead then you bet your ass that Shanks will be involved in the WG war and die in it.

Shanks and BB may clash again, however, neither one of them will die at this Clash. BB endgame is not the shanks, its Luffy. Kidd will be the one to take down the rat.

At this point I honestly don't care if Teach wins or vice versa, I just want that battle to be worth all the hype and live up to the expectations of past years.

Oda does this very annoying thing where no character is allowed to show anything serious until it's involved with Luffy directly.

It's a common writing thing, but Oda is absolutely dog shit at it because he goes to extremes at it.

So we would get a BB vs Shanks where we won't see BB using everything

- Blackbeard vs Shanks
- Akainu vs Luffy
- Blackbeard vs Luffy
- Mihawk vs Zoro (even though I also think there's a chance that this might not happen)

About Blackbeard vs Shanks, it's true we're probably not gonna see all of it. Still, we needs to see an all out Shanks, and at least a portion of Blackbeard's arsenal on page.

I wouldn’t trust current Oda to be honest. Dude has been fucking up hyped things since the beginning of Wano.

Shanks will dominate BB most of the fight and then oda will have BB win either by playing dirty or awakening a special power like maybe Yami awakening.

Also it's not that shanks needs to die. BB may hold him for plot purpose and luffy rescues Shanks later after defeating BB.

This way shanks can be relevant against garling and holy knights fight.
