I see many claims that NT is better than OP, which is hilarious but lets see;

First of all, Sakura is a dumb character and can't be compared to Nami or Robin.

Second of all, almost half of NT villains joins Naruto at the end; Tobi, Orochi, Nagato, Itachi etc joins Naruto's side, low quality villains compared to OP. Kaguya was a trash FV as well.

OP villains quality is much higher;



Lastly, lets talk about the numbers;



- Manga sales its not even close, OP is much better.
- Anime revenue is close but still OP is better.
- Movies is not even close OP is much better.
- Merchandise and Franchise value is not even close OP is much better.

I’m not gonna argue with a guy who thinks OP villains > Naruto villains lol. Of all the things you could choose to say OP does better than Naruto, that was one of the worst options. For fucks sake, Kaido was the villain of a 150 chapter long arc, yet fucking Sasori (who only fought Sakura and Chiyo for like 3 chapters) was more fleshed out than him. Mid tier Naruto villains are comparable to OP’s best villains

There are much better manga than OP and Naruto that have less sales, so who cares about sales, brother?

Anyway, you are right about the talk no jutsu stuff.
But we can't really compare the villains, the quality gap is too big.

Naruto's villains are heavily supported by deep and realistic backstories, each of them having the reason and explanation of how they achieved their evilness.
In One Piece you have some cool and well designed villains, mostly Admirals, but a lot of them lack any real substance, which makes them feel like clowns, we even see this with important villains like Kaido, which I like, but the fact that he lacks any substance, no backstory, nothing, I can't even see any evilness in Kaido, because he hasn't killed anyone important in the current timeline, it's just the usual "Wowwww Kaido is so evil, look what he did", so crappy and badly written.
Naruto's villains kill, Naruto's villains really make you feel like they are fucking monsters.


Where's the Kaido Substance, the Big Mom Substance? There's no substance, it's just empty, like a generic action movie villain.

They aren't comparable in anything narrative-wise, One Piece is in a league of its own, only thing left maybe is the characters design, OP has more diversity and Naruto imo has some cooler lookin sht

Lol I don’t read Naruto manga. One piece villain is last one you talk who<s better. Moro from DBS literally sh#t gorosei , Blackbeard , imu on villain and threat . Incompetent seem fit one piece villains like gorosei. Just read Moro arc and if Moro rule world government, joy boy will dead or eaten .

Naruto is more iconic to public even villains like madara . How many people heard of Blackbeard, Doflimingo, Crocodile? Two of not even original names . If doflimingo got clowned in future , you will begging luffy vs Akainu to happen for iconic reason . This why some shanks fans want evil shanks theory come true because it will be most famous shock and fight luffy for iconic reason .
Blackbeard is aint cut for it because he literally have same name as real life pirate .
Thor become famous because of marvel movies/comic , not Norse mythology but it won’t apply to Blackbeard because Blackbeard is most famous pirate which literally children book mention Blackbeard, not one piece .

iconic villain need to be original and something impact main character . Sure you can argue Blackbeard has impact on main character but he doesn’t original name .
