Ya'll need to understand someone on the other side of the internet who prefer something else and it doesn't align with your opinion doesn't make them incorrect.
Naruto is still leagues better than one piece in a few domains , and at the same time one piece dominates in other domains.
Sales/Revenue doesn't mean jackshit unless you want me to bring up pokemon sales , revenue , movies 🙂↕️

You guys would shit bricks if nami or robin did even 10% what Sakura did in her series
nami is a character reduced to baby sitting because she has no other character besides liking kid's out of nowhere in Punk Hazard.
and Robin is a plot device that only speak relevant info and withholds other information
... How does that mean low quality villains?
I can count a whole lot more villains in one piece that joined Goofy's side:
-Crocodile
-mr3
-mr2
-mr1
-Bellamy
-Katakuri
-Germa
-Katakuri
...etc, you get it
She's about the same as Imu
Sorry to break it to you but BB is a trash villain who only succeeds due to plotholes and plot armor.
He does nothing smart, Oda just protects him from other characters being smart and just beating him.
Let's not even mention his trash ass crew who besides Kuzan have literally nothing going them. They are fodder both strength, character and design wise.
Once Kuzan leaves, these fucks will be weaker than Onigashima strawhats.

I'd say until Chapter 440, Naruto (End of Pain Fight) and OP (End of Enies Lobby/Water 7 Saga) were Comparable
But after that, Naruto wasted it's entire Potential
Only thing you could say about it is "I like this Character" or "I like this Fight"
Things that are Subjective and can be said by OP Fans as well
But OP still offered much more than that, while Naruto ruined what it was all about
One thing that Naruto was Consistent in was Masashi's Art & it was Amazing from Start to Finish imo

Naruto has its shortcomings and so does One Piece.
Naruto's power system is much more interesting to discuss than One piece. Naruto has better art, better villains, better fights...etc.
I always liked One Piece more than Naruto when they were both coming out, but Naruto ended in 2014 so I didnt compare them much afterwards.

I already made clear in another thread about what series has the best villains that I find One Piece to be superior even in that.
What I think Naruto did better are the fights themselves (as long as genjutsu wasn't involved). The characters fought with more brains and the choreography were good.
Naruto's power system was more complex than One Piece's (more complex doesn't mean better nor worse) but still had it's flaws (powers like Shikamaru's or Sai's weren't fully explained by the power system at least on panel, and everything related to Mangekyo kept getting worse).
If we count Boruto the whole quality and perception of the franchise plummets down.
I enjoyed following Naruto until it ended, and I'm quite fond of some of its characters, but both One Piece and Bleach clear it to me.

The time I started watching One Piece, it is a goofy and fun adventure anime. The mix between Eastern and Western cartoon style makes the series stands out from Naruto and most anime out there at that time. The downside is for a casual reader, 80% of everything makes no sense, the fights are Tom and Jerry and physically broken. The characters' development and fights has never been fleshout.
I never finished Naruto, but I think the characters' developments and fights got way more focus than One Piece. The art style has always been consistent.

OP has better world building and character designs, overall it has better potential
However, on a technical level when it comes to appreciating panel time and dedicating moments for every character while advancing the story, it is obvious that Oda falls short to Kishimoto, post ts the manga has been reduced to fan service.
If Oda maintained half the quality he put out in pre timeskip it would’ve been a different story, but as it is now Naruto clears easily
